About Me

IMG_3646.jpeg

For as long as I can remember, motherhood has been one of the most important things I’ve poured my heart into.

Homeschooling has been a big part of that journey, and we’ve tried different approaches along the way to find what worked for our family. It hasn’t always been easy, but through every season, I’ve loved finding ways to be intentional with the time I have with my kids and the kind of life we’re building together.

Along the way, my background in elementary education, years of homeschooling, and training in life coaching have influenced the way I think about family life, learning, and supporting other moms. I’ve also loved creating opportunities for connection and adventure through things like Adventure Club, which has become a meaningful part of our own family life.

Some of my favorite parts of our family life have been our traditions — read-alouds, pizza and movie nights, and the many little things we’ve made our own over the years. We’ve also loved making time for outings and new experiences together.

My kids are older now, and these are some of the last years they’ll be at home — something I don’t take for granted. That’s part of what led me to create Rise Up: to walk alongside other moms who want to be intentional with the time they have too, in whatever season they’re in.

The Vision

My motherhood and homeschool days have never been perfect,

and I don't believe they need to be.

But through years of living, learning, adjusting, and intentionally choosing what matters most,

I've seen how small, purposeful choices can shape the culture of a family.

That's why I created RISE UP: to share what I've learned and walk alongside other mothers as they move from surviving to intentionally creating a family life they love living.
